The german Soprano Anna-Maria Palii began her piano, violin and voice studies in early childhood. She studied voice with Prof. Elena Pankratova and Art Song with Prof. Joseph Breinl at the University of Music and performing Arts Graz, graduating in 2018 with distinction (1,0). She is currently continuing her studies at the Musikhochschule München with KS Christiane Iven. 

She attended Masterclasses with Jan Philip Schulze, Robert Holl, Joshua Rifkin, Hedwig Fassbender, James Baillieu, Caroline Dowdle, Thomas Quasthoff, Thomas Hampson and KS Brigitte Fassbänder. Anna-Maria Palii is the recipient of scholarships from the Rotary Club, the Irmler-Foundation, the Bavarian Singing Academy and the Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition Helsinki. In 2014 and 2016 she was also awarded a scholarship for achievement from the University of Music and performing Arts Graz. Anna-Maria is a Britten-Pears Young Artist and  first prize winner of the Irmler Competition Bamberg and the Rotary Music Awards. 

Recent engagements include the roles of Pamina (The Magic Flute), Gretel (Hänsel and Gretel), Lucy (The Telephone) and Flora (The Turn of the Screw) at Mumuth Theatre Graz,  5. Magd (Elektra) at Verbier Festival, Ännchen (Freischütz) at Ring Award Festival and 1st witch and 2nd Woman (Dido and Aeneas) at Richard-Strauss Festspiele. Her concert repertoire stretches from early baroque to contemporary music. Specializing in contemporary music, she recently interpreted the role of the Solo-Soprano in Matthias Pintschers „With lilies white“, performed together with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the composer himself. Anna-Maria also participated as a soloist in many world premieres, working with composers such as Anna Thorwaldsdottir, Matthias Pintscher, Hans Zender, Arvo Pärt and Beat Furrer. Therefore Anna-Maria pursues an active performance schedule in song, oratorio and concert. 

As a soloist she performed with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Munich Chamber Orchestra, Österreichisches Ensemble für neue Musik, the Verbier Festival Orchestra, Akademie für alte Musik Berlin, Concerto Köln and the Royal Orchestra of the Sultanate Oman.She sang under the baton of Peter Dijkstra, Howard Arman, Yuval Weinberg Johannes Prinz, Wolfgang Wengenroth, Bernhard Steiner, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Mariss Jansons. 

She recently gave her debuts at Richard Strauss-Festspiele Garmisch, Internationale Händelfestspiele Halle, Carl-Orff Festspiele, Salzburger Festspiele and Ring Award Festival Graz.
